Two half-rounds form the base and the table top is also supported by two 90° offset half-rounds. The whole thing was carved out of one trunk, which was hollowed out in the middle to prevent cracks from forming. The table has an elegant and delicate appearance thanks to the opposing waisted shape that spreads upwards.
