Choose the design furniture of your dreams and realize it yourself in the wonderful mountain world of Scuol under the expert guidance of Alexander Curtius.
Once you have decided on a model, I will provide you with a piece of wood that has been cut into its rough shape with a chainsaw.

You will use carving knives, planes and sandpaper to refine the mould, with machines only being used in exceptional cases. You will learn the necessary techniques from scratch, so you do not need any previous experience. However, a little manual dexterity would be an advantage.
In my wonderfully situated studio above Scuol, you will be able to work on your piece together with other motivated people in a pleasant and creative atmosphere.
The duration of the course is calculated so that you have enough time for breaks and conversations over coffee and lunch. At lunchtime we will cook for each other.
The dates of the three workshop blocks of 9 days each are listed below. For 7-day objects, you can choose the days freely. This also applies to the ‘5. Free-swinging armchair lounger’, in which you can freely organise the 14 days in both courses.

IMPORTANT: There is a limited number of blanks available each year for complex furniture such as ‘5. Free-swinging armchair lounger’. The earlier you register, the sooner you can secure the furniture you want. I can produce blanks on request until the end of February so that they still have enough time to dry.
